The Joke is on me, I was sure fooled, this is the flower we were discussing 2 days ago about it being a division six. No discussion now, no it’s not a 6. It’s interesting that it reversed the normal procedure of a daffodil opening. It went from closed to reversed, then back to open. There is a sister seedling that will be opening in a few days, I am going to watch this close. Am a little disappointed, I liked the first version better.
First version
Was hoping to get a green cupped division six with the next two crosses, didn’t happen, so far anyway. No green, no reflex. But, if I could bottle the fragrance of these, I would be on easy street.
Vineland 6y-y x Lima’s Green Road , thought I would get good reflex here, as Vineland has great reflex.
Not sure what this next seedling is , just appeared last year. Little Flick, Kawa Kawa, Pequenita, and MS 434 are nearby. Probably a MS434 seedling but none of the above are even close to blooming this early. But wait, wouldn’t a nice green cup look good on this. Where’s my viridiflorus pollen?
One of the first cyclamineus miniatures to bloom.
A dubius cross in bloom for first time.
Lighting Fire x dubius, The single bloom is miniature size but with other blooms coming the spike will probably be just too big to enter as a miniature.
That’s all folks, for tonight anyway.

Hi Larry, Happy Spring! You’ve got such nice things in the pipeline, congratulations! I’m piping up here because I think you’re not appreciating that little MS434 seedling enough, and it deserves more respect! :) With all the yellow and white reflexed early-blooming flowers, I think there is an actual NEED for a super-early little round flower. I know I have nothing that size and shape, except Pequenita, which blooms a little later for me than the season 1 reported by Daffseek. (The chubby cyc and Lighting Fire x dubius cross are also very nice – great color on that tazetta).

Hi Larry,
I liked it better as a Div. 6, too! But I really like the one whose ancestry you don’t know. Great form. Love the color in your dubius cross.
