an inconvenience

All of you are receiving your December Journals, and what I had hoped was a glitch
peculiar to the first box turned out to be widespread—the last two pages will have
to be cut apart by the reader.
I surely am sorry about this–would rather nothing deter your reading.
The printer will, I am sure, take pains not to let this happen again.
