Monkshood is also blooming in Ohio today.  We’re getting down to the end of flowers here.  Still a few cyclamen hederifolium in bloom, and buds coming–hopefully–on cyclamen coum, and that’s it for blooms.  Unless . . .the killing frost holds…

Friends, Today I have the first daffodil of the 2008-09 season in bloom in Ohio, courtesy of Harold Koopowitz.  It’s the first floret on his cross of N. aureus x N. miniatus.  He sent 3 selectios and this one is…
