Friends, sadly, I report the death of Meg Yerger. Meg died at her home on JAN 3, in Princess Anne, MD. She was 93. An obituary can be viewed at
www.baltimoresun.com for more information . Meg was a Life Member of ADS, having joined in 1966. She was a retired ADS Accredited Judge. Meg’s love of daffodils centered around poets. At my very fist ADS Convention, in Cincinnati, in 1974, Meg was quick to recognize a 21 year old newcomer, and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. She introduced me to people, and made sure I had interesting lunch and dinner partners. I was most impressed with her tall, slim stature, her beautiful blue eyes, and upswept French twist style, silver hair. She carried a clear plastic purse that was lined with dried daffodils… poets, of course. So I have very fond and appreciative memories of Meg. We appreciate ADS member, Joanna Tilghman, for making us aware of Meg’s passing.
Sorrowfully,
