Netters, The seedlings shown are all of intermediate size. The three-floreted jonquil-type seedling is short in stature but the cluster is fully standard size. Bob

Netters, This seedling opened its maiden bloom yesterday. The tag says: Southern Hospitality 4Y-R x mini 7Y-Y seedling. And so offers an explanation to my quandary about where the doubled seedling came from. Most likely, in gathering and planting seeds…

Viridiflorus seedlings – 7

Netters, Here’s another of Manuel Lima’s Actaea x viridiflorus. Starry, with petals white flushed green and a tiny orange cup with a green eye. Very small plant, but it does have two leaves. Some first-generation hybrids are like the species…
