Columbus OH show

We missed Tom Stettner at the Columbus show for his company, his flowers, and selfishly, for his camera. In his absence, here’s a few I took, in no particular order.
My favorite is this one of Linda Fabbro with her small growers ribbon and her very nice bloom of Louise Randall.

Best NZ bloom, Capree Elizabeth, shown by Dottie Kerr.

The English collection exhibited by Nancy Gill won the purple ribbon for best 5 stem collection.  Altun Ha (middle bottom) won the gold for best standard in show.

These seedlings bred and entered by Mary Lou Gripshover got the white ribbon for best vase of three, the Rose ribbon for best seedling and I think the special award for best pink. My photo doesn’t do them justice – they’re smooth, colorful and have personality.

Rebecca Koester won the Red White and Blue.  She also entered a lovely stem of Ice Wings that won the Classics Awards.

The large collections. Nancy Gill’s Bozie, my Havens and Quinn.

It was a fun show – good flowers, nice venue and lots of friends.
