daffodil flag flying in Central Mississippi

another great plus for autumn blooming flowers:
I have finally gotten my new daffodils planted, the week before Thanksgiving (November is the ideal time, weather wise, for this in central Mississippi), and have enjoyed a bright row of clumps of ‘Tequila Sunrise’ looking me in the eye as I work.
We haven’t had a heavy frost, and ‘Golden Soleil d’ Or,’ usually a January bloomer, has fat buds right now—possibly a predictor of an early season. Welcome idea with our CMDS show pushed back to March 6.
