Daffodil flag flying in Madison, MS!

December 28th–first bloom open from one of the Lima Green Road seedling tribe I’ve had from Larry Force for ten years, always before the New Year’s, first bloom cut to come inside, plenty of others coming up.

Mary Price, who is shy about posting on Daffnet, tells me she also has a good many blooms in open ground in full bloom of the pachybolus that Jaydee wrote about and pictured so enticingly a few days ago. These also came from a small pot shared with Mary by Mary Lou, and further proof how well they suit our
climate zone. Whatever zone they are calling us now, I would say Brandon, MS, and Hawkinsville, GA, are on the same growing line.
