Hi Daffnetters, Just along from the bright seedling, 07 – 7 , is the pollen parent used, Early Orbit , both photos. It is fertile both ways, seed and pollen.. It is a great market cutflower, tall, big heads, seldom greens, usually the first double for the season. Makes attractive fat buds. The doubles are marketed considerably more open than the standards, with the buds well popped. As I want to keep using E. O. for breeding, I will check every flower in this row for stamens or a pistil – – slow progress but I think the results are worth the effort.
