Fran Lewis

I just found out Fran Lewis past at 100 this week. She and her husband, Raymond, hybridized ‘Mobjack Bay’ and ‘North River’.  My heart is heavy with sadness as she was the last of older generation that showed locally.  She was one of my mentors when i was first struggling to enter in my first shows.

I like to think she, my mom, the Vances, Agnes Bates, Betty C., and Bill Pannill are all enjoying heavenly daffodils together with all our departed daffodil friends.
