This pair of “daffodils” (sculpted from Thujas) was at the front of Alden Lane Nursery this weekend. If I remember correctly, the small one was for sale at $130 and the large one at $400. The label has instructions on maintaining the shape of your shrub. So now you can grow an evergreen daffodil.

The Northern California Daffodil Society (NCDS) was invited to participate in the 60th Anniversary celebration for Alden Lane Nursery. The NCDS was one of about eight organizations who celebrated this occasion. These “green daffodils” that Kirby photographed, greeted customers at the nursery’s entry way.
The first weekend of March, Alden Lane Nursery hosts the Bay Area Daffodil Show and much later in the year, hosts the NCDS Fall Potluck and Auction. We appreciate everything Alden Lane Nursery does to support the NCDS and daffodils.
