Hamilton poets

Hi everyone

The Hamilton poets have continued to bloom and I’ll post four more
photographs, two in this posting and two in the next. I’m interested
that some people think they’re intermediate sized small cups and not
poets. I think everything about them but the missing red rim is
characteristic of most oets. They certainly have the scent of the
poets and the very short cups as well as growth habits that are
similar. If you looked at our poet patches and turned the flowers back
on to the viewer and sniffed their fragrance I would defy anyone to
pick which had no red rims and which did based on the form, wjhiteness
of colour of the perianth, size and growth habits. Might this not mean
that they are actually poets and not intermediate sized small cups?
Anyway, this posting has 11-106 and 11-102. The next has Hamilton
106-03 and 11-105.

Cheers
