Here are a couple of shots from yesterday’s excellent show of the IDS in Indy. I apologize for the lighting. My camera was on the fritz.
The folks in the front row are Kay Cunningham, Show Chair, Libby Frey, Sara Kinne, and Ruth Pelauch.
We haven’t seen or heard from the person hiding behind a mustache of daffodils for a while. She was very camera shy.
BTW, Fred Lawlor of Cincinnati (smiling far left in the pic, not with the group) won the Gold. Tom Stettner was there and will, I assume, post the pics of the best blooms.
At the last minute I took a few blooms to enter, including Windy City, which popped up over night Saturday. I was tickled that it won a blue. I had two equally perfect blooms.
With my last minute picking (after a really crummy, dispiriting week weatherwise), I was more disorganized than usual, but Lynn Slackman helped me stage and enter. Thanks, Lynn.
