Last day of summer

Gold Stanza is in flower. The first of Bill Welch’s Autumn Colors is just opening.

A cross between the two.

This is also meant to be from the same cross but I’m doubtful.

Another nice 8W-O.

A nice 8Y-O

Nearly 8O-O (Gold Stanza x First Stanza)

This is Gold Stanza OP, probably miniature, that has corona color in the petals rather than the usual flush or undertone. This is due to conditions but it suggests that corona colored petals might be possible.

On a completely different subject, here is an example of yellows crossed with pinks and then back crossed. (Temple Gold x Kalimna) x (Nynja x Decoy)

  1. The tazetta coronas show strong N. obsoletus (syn. N. elegans) influence in the incurved mouth?
