Hello All,
Many of you will be aware that Max Hamilton is at a low ebb. We saw him last week and while he was very coherent and was able to discuss many daffodil matters, it was obvious that he was very tired. Kath has now told us that he is receiving hospice care and that very little can be done for him other than making him comfortable.
All that we can do now is to provide support for Kath and be there for them all.
It is really good that Max was honoured recently with an international award. This is reported on the NDSNZ Webpage – see www.daffodil.org.nz.
We are sad that this is not better news, especially as Spring advances here and Max’s wonderful poets will be soon in bloom.
