The ADS Gold and Silver Medals were awarded at the Annual Meeting. The Gold Medal, for service to daffodils, went to Bob Spotts. Bob has been an ambassador for the daffodil, and his innovative hybridizing using N. viridiflorus has led to wonderful flowers. His ‘Mesa Verde’ was awarded the Pannill Medal for 2015.
The ADS Silver Medal, for service to the ADS, went to Rod Armstrong. Rod has served the ADS in many capacities, including Treasurer both before and after his term as President.
Both awards were well-deserved, and standing ovations were the order of the night.
