N jonquilla s.l. versus assoanus

I like to point out that whereas the “jonquilla group” has about 32 pg of nuclear DNA, N assoanus has only 19 pg so there is a big difference. That is why I placed them in different sections. I just returned from a vist to southern Spain I found N bujei, jonquilla, assoanus, cordubensis and hispanicus in flower. Not a trace of N bulbocodium or the ” ubiquitous” N triandrus. For those it was too late I suppose.
