Dear Daffnetters,
The new ADS server is now operational and safely located in San Francisco. All normal functions are now running from the new server including Daffnet, DaffSeek, as well as the ADS and local society web sites. Ben will continue to test and tune the server from home, so if you experience anything unusual, please let us know.
Last night, Ben announced that with this new server would be a new version of DaffSeek. The first DaffSeek feature is species, Division 13, is now available. A team of international volunteers worked on the species content for more than a year to ensure the highest quality of information. Please take a moment and query one of your favorite species to view the contents and photos.
Another feature is the main menu has been simplified. The advanced menu has been replaced with the “expanded menu” button.
