Attached is the 2014 PHS Daffodils Fall Sale list. Uncommon, rare, and classics dominate this year’s offering. This list is open to US residents only, and the deadline for ordering is 28 October–that’s two weeks from today. There are lots of some, few of others; order soon if interested. As ever, you will receive large, healthy, multiple-nosed bulbs, and lots of gratis. Shipping will occur over the next three weekends.

Attached below are images of daffodils available from this list, some of which are not currently featured in Daffseek. One, ‘Passa Double’, available in the late 1990s via commercial mail-order catalogs, is one of our favorites. It is impressively rimmed, it is a strong grower, and it is always popular; alas, it has no registrtation information (it is not ‘Pasa Doble’). If any of our Dutch friends out there in Daffnetland can offer insight, I’m all ears. I have been using it for split and jonquil breeding; hopefully this rim will be passed on.
