re-defining the question

I don’t think I stated clearly what I was asking.

I’ve gotten several fine answers (and have saved them all) about how you get a
good daffodil photograph.

But what I was really hoping for was a definition of a good photograph, accomplished.

Maybe look at some of the best you have seen recently and tell me why they are good?
What sets them apart from the pretty good? What makes them, if possible, great?
