On Monday I picked the last of our daffodil flowers for the season. When you consider that our peak season is usually the last week of September this is absurd. There is new snow on the mountains and a frost yesterday took out our early vegetables and dahlias.

Its the same here in the Waikato. I still have a few flowers on Sun Disc, they should have been finished weeks ago as peak flowering here was mid September. No frosts here but some of the evenings have been very chilly.
