This is a photo of 3 stems of: V96-33-17 a 7Y-R with good form and intense depth of color. Each flower is about 45mm in diameter which is a little bigger than species N. jonquilla. My guess is that because of the rounded flowers and overall floral mass, it won’t be recognized as a Miniature even though it measures such.
It is a cross involving my 3rd generation of intercrossing N. jonquilla for form. The cross is: [(N. jonquilla super re-select x N. fernandesii) x (Altruist x Loch Lundie)]. A very few bulbs have been sent out to close friends for evaluation. Probably will be named next year.
