Best vases of three

I did not get very many photos of the blooms at the show as I forgot a back drop, tripod and lights, my camera lens is just too “soft” to get good crisp close-ups under the lights inside that room.
I have looked all over for my list of major award winners and I am pretty sure I washed my note book with my jeans last night. I’ll look in the dryer after while:-((
This (287) was the best “youth” vase of three and best youth bloom all in this one vase. I thought either of the top two blooms were also two of the best blooms in the show.
The greatest part of having this show was to have Bill Pannill’s Great Nephew walk into the show carrying a couple of blooms of Great Gatsby. Here I am sitting trying to look up the color code of my own Great Gatsby for an American Collection that had all Five of the blooms from Bill’s breeding and a total stranger gives me the correct color code:-)))
NORMALLY when someone walks into our show and is asking around “HOW do I enter these blooms” and they are carrying two or three blooms in a water glass then they are ALWAYS going to have blooms of Ice Follies!!!
Anyway 288 is Williamsburg bred by Bill Pannill and it was the best vase of three standard and also got best bloom in our show.
I “believe” for the first time ever that 8 or nine different people took home one of the top award ribbons in this show.
Ann Hibbs won the Silver ribbon for the second year in a row with 18 blue ribbons, Glenda Broggoitti was second with 15 with me a distant third with 13 blue ribbons.
Ann Hibbs is in the center of the last vase of three:-)) Keith Kridler
