There are not a lot of yellow-pink doubles. This is a new introduction for 2011 named ‘Tropical Punch’. It is a cross of: ‘Baldock’ x ‘Capree Elizabeth’. Roughly 50% of the flowers have had a viable stigma.

Hi Everyone,
Isn’t it amazing how many breeders make the same cross without knowing. It demonstrates that we are all looking for similar advances. I made the cross Baldock (raised by my former daffodil partner, Max Hamilton) with Capree Elizabeth several times. Regrettably I didn’t get anything as good as Steve’s seedling. Well done Steve!
