WOW! My issue arrived yesterday, but I hadn't opened it until I saw your posting, Lynn. Mary Lou, what a wonderful article! SIX pages, lots of great color photos, sidebars on Growing Guidelines, Wister Winners, Bulb Sources, and Resources (ADS website and info and several recommended books). If you don't belong to AHS and receive this magazine, go find it!

Do you think that, after a reasonable period of time, The American Gardener would agree to having a .pdf or other link to this article from our ADS website? I’m assuming that they own the copyright to the article, and not Mary Lou.

Minnesota, just getting another 2-7” of the white wet stuff and temps 10 or more degrees below average, so it won’t melt anytime soon.
I wrote an asked if I subscribe now, could my subscription start with Mary Lou’s issue, but haven’t heard back yet. I used to subscribe, but got tired of them always featuring articles appropriate for zones warmer than Edie’s or mine.

This is a good question to ask Mary Lou next week, once she returns from chasing the elusive Narcissus species in Spain!
