The Northern Daffodil Club held its Early Table Show last Monday night at Hamilton Gardens.
A good turnout of growers and flowers provided for a very enjoyable evening.
There was considerable improvement in the quality of flowers from the last table show held 4 weeks ago. Graham and Bronwyn Phillips exhibited the Champion Bloom of Kiwi Sunset grown from pre cooled bulbs. They also exhibited a very attractive vase of three blooms of Kiwi Sunset.
Tahi raised by Max Hamilton from seed sent from Bill Welch is proving to be a very reliable early tazetta, this was a very attractive well matched vase. As to be expected at an early show there were several vases of miniatures the first from Graeme and Faith Miller and the second a selection of bulbocodium seedlings from Robin Hill.
