There is an old saying that when March comes in like a lamb, it goes out like a Lion. The first two weeks or so of March 2024 “in New Jersey” came in like the lamb – warm weather into the 70 and 80s “F”, sunny, and daffodils starting to pop out of the ground everywhere you looked. Looked like not many daffodils going to be left for Judging on April 11th.
Now the last two weeks of April has been the Lion with it’s very cold weather and freezing nights. Yes, as the old saying goes, March is going out like the Lion. Maybe there will be the other problems with Daffodils on April 11th, will there be enough daffodils to make a good showing? Sure hope so.
