Thanks, Jon, for your observations on New Charm.  It’s possible my overly-long foliage may be because of lack of light, though the pot was in the coldframe until I noticed buds coming.  The foliage was sprawled on the ground then already.  Maybe I’m fertilizing too often (about once a month with liquid 4-12-4 Miracle Gro plant starter) because I use Pro-Mix and granite grit about half and half as the potting mix.
I brought the pot inside today, and noticed a slight fragrance, maybe a very light lemon fragrance.  I admit my “nose” isn’t that great, ’cause I don’t get the rose fragrance in ‘Fragrant Rose’ that everyone else does, so I’m wondering if anyone else has detected a fragrance in ‘New Charm’.
