Garden Symposium

Dear Daffodil Friends…
I recently received a very enjoyable telephone call from Jaanie Vaughan, an active member of the Virginia Daffodil Society whose Uncle Bill is none other than our esteemed friend in daffodils, Bill Pannill.  Jaanie was calling to enlist my assistance in spreading the word about a forthcoming Garden Symposium to be held in Lynchburg, Virginia on March 7th and 8th.  For those interested, I urge you to visit the website, www.gravegarden.org, to learn more about the symposium and the Old City Cemetery located in Lynchburg. All you need to do is ‘click’ on the center section of the ‘pop up’ and then download information regarding the very interesting symposium and feature speaker, Scott Kunst, the owner of Old House Gardens who specializes in heirloom bulbs.
Even if you are unable to consider visiting Lynchburg the month before coming to Virginia to attend the ADS Convention and Show that will be held here in Richmond, I am confident you will enjoy reading about this historic cemetery and the events their group hosts in addition to the Garden Symposium.
