daffodils are easy

A week or so ago, I said that daffodils are very accommodating in the garden.  The photo is of a group of ‘Phantom’.  The flowers had deteriorated over time, with the cup becoming almost non-existent.  So about 12 or 15 years ago, they were dug from the garden and just dumped down the hill in the woods.  They were not planted.  Leaves have covered them each winter from the deciduous trees.  There’s not an abundance of bloom–but they are in the shade, and they do give a few blooms.
