A new daffodil entering the trade is being baptized by pastor Paul Vlaar at a ceremony at Keukenhof. Carlos van der Veek is the hybridizer. The new daffodil is named Sint Victor. Sint is Dutch for Saint. Sint Victor is the name of Paul Vlaar’s church. If you look carefully, you can see the water being poured on the flowers.
