Hymenocallis caribaea – Spider Lily. This had been growing in front pond for two years – wintering in light garden in basement in winter. Had never bloomed and was ready to give it only one more year. After bringing it in this year, about a week later found this scape with 3 florets.The Water Gardening company we bought it from lists it under shallow water and bog plants. When I looked it up they did not say anything about growing it in water.
