Drying Mini Daffs

I’ve had relatively good luck simply drying the mini daffs as I do all other flowers – in a phone book with plenty of weight on top. First snip off any stem, and as much of the neck as possible without loosening the petals. Then place the flowers face down and carefully close  the book on them so that the corona is flattened down to one side. Leave them alone for a couple of weeks, then carefully open to that page or pages (I mark the filled pages with a slip of paper) and gently peel the flowers loose. Press a fair number, as the petals tend to wrinkle unless you can get them very flat. Ethel Smith in MN
