The Riccarton HS show was held on Saturday 12th September. Entries were very good and the flower quality high. We entered flowers that I had not taken to Gisborne. Their quality was still good and I expected to do well. Not the case. We were lucky to get second or third in most classes. Noel Inwood had superb flowers entered in most classes.
