Begonia and Murphys

Hello All,

Like David we are readying ourselves for Murphys.  Our trip is not quite as time consuming as his involving a direct flight from Auckland to SF and then onto Sacramento.  However we arrive at much the same time.  At last count there will be nine Kiwis present so our little Nation will be well represented.  Indeed Bob, Nancy and their team should be well pleased with their  efforts to attract “internationals” as well as people from all over the US! 

We are not quite having the heat that David reports. We have, though had a lovely fine spell of days in the high twenties – enough to make the roses wilt.  However the begonias in our shaded fernery are looking good at present – the photo is one of them aptly called Candy Floss.

Two weeks today and we will be on our way.  It is always great to get two Springs in the same year
