Juergen Steininger, the bulb expert at Longwood Gardens whom many on Daffseek met in Philadelphia or Richmond, asked me to post the following information to Daffnet.
Juergen says that Rootshield is a soil treatment. It can be effective for eliminating fusarium in the soil, which is what it is designed to do. However, it does not enter the tissue of plants or bulbs so it is not a cure for a fusarium-infected bulb.
