Elsa Stern is a great supporter of the Rongotea Horticultural Society ,
this is their 101 st spring show ,and a great promoter of daffodils in the
Manawatu area . As you can see from the results , she has a great collection
of miniatures and small species .
We were very pleased when Elsa was presented with the N Z Daffodil Society
Certificate of Recognition for her many years of work promoting daffodils .
The presentation was made at the N I National at Palmerston North last Saturday .
Elsa was nominated by Robin Hill and seconded by Wilf Hall ..
Robin credits his introduction to growing and showing daffs to Elsa,s encouragement
when he was a young lad growing up in Rongotea .
