Young Daffodils Doing Fine

We are snow covered in Chicago, and there’s not much daffodil news. The cheap box of paperwhites someone gave me are in undistinguished bloom. I dislike their odor. But one is about 27″ tall, while the others are all cowering far below.
Then there is the set of Bob Spotts unbloomed seedling that I picked up at the Fall Board Meeting. They are a harbinger of better things to come.
Does anyone know of a source for this container. It has a water reservoir in the bottom with a window to show the water level. It was made in France and I bought it from a magazine ad many years ago. I’d use more if I had them.
