Here’s a patch of one of Manuel’s seedlings. The notable characteristics of this one are the extreme length of blooms and the willingness for bulb division. The blooms have been open a month! It does not seem to be fertile. Like the species parent, it continues to grow after the bloom opens and is now a tall plant. It has a leaf in addition to the stalk.
