Portland ODS show Apr. 2-3, 2011
If you received The Daffodil Journal of March 2011, you probably read the wonderful story that Loyce McKenzie about Intermediates. On page 176 she writes about the major contributions which Jeanie Driver made regarding Intermediates. Jeanie lives in Corbett, OR along the Columbia River but needed transportation to get to this show. Margaret Pansegrau provided ‘taxi’ serve for Jeanie so she could join us at the show. Jeanie was her usual wonderful cheery self and enjoyed all of the festivities, helping with judging. In this photo I snapped her talking with Steve Vinisky. Seems like she has been at lots of conventions and then some. I watched her help Barbara learn how to stage her daffodils long ago and immediately sensed she was a great ODS and ADS contributor. Little did I know then what she did for these organizations!
