‘Bob Spotts’ is a fine show cultivar – my gratitude to John Pearson for naming it.

But, the bloom is typical of me. I was raised in the Arizona desert, where showers were verboten and baths were an inch of water in the tub. I never learned to wash off the dirt.

On another note, there was a fabulous stem of ‘Bob Spotts’ in the show in Cleveland today.  It went up for BIS, but lost from some dirt on the bloom.  Too bad!
