I have registered this as ‘Coral Ringlet’ 3W-WWP although it is from poet breeding. It is a cross of ‘Cantabile’ x ‘Verdant Meadow’. I love ‘Verdant Meadow’ which is a 3W-GWW from Grant Mitsch/ Dick & Elise Havens. ‘Verdant Meadow’ is from ‘Dallas’ x ‘Delightful’. The grandparents have ‘Cushendall’, ‘Dactyl’, ‘Cantabile’ and species poets behind them that were presumably crossed with whites way back when.
This flower was picked early (more thunderstorms, high winds, and hail today) but the soft ivory yellow zone goes white. It looks very poet like but due to the unusual coloration, I’ve followed the tradition from the white parent antecedents and registered it as a Div. 3.
