Hi Daffnetters ,
Our Central Daffodil Group hed our A G M in Palmerston North on Saturday last .
We always bring what daffs are available — always autumn flowering types, mainly tazettas .
I was very impressed with Golden Rain , brought along by Wilfred Hall ..
Golden Rain ,
Beautiful deep gold colour , very strong ,sweet fragrance ..
Checked it on Daffseek and noted Bill Welch had used Golden Rain pollen
to produce ” Amazing Alexis ” .
Top single flower has several old ,small and browned stamens just visible .
Also found a few younger stamens , tucked in the centers of a few flowers .
Wilf had an impressive , thriving small block of Golden Rain, flowering brightly .
