Hi Daffnetters,
Still a very cold southerly over the country at the moment .
The snow level in our area has lifted to about 400 metres but the wind is chilling.
Fortunately the snow has thawed on the daff beds here but some of the big growers
in Kimbolton area are still very white .
Te Rangi Pai — 2 W – P Max Hamilton .
One of the early pink registrations from Max .
Quite a big , strong growing flower , but needs dressing ..
In the garden , it is always a little cupped or hooded , a notable characteristic .
However it is easy to dress and sits flat with a little openning pressure .
Look at those great strong shoulders ,on all six petals ..
Always early , a good record at the first shows .
Cheers John .
