Hi Daffnetters,
Wednesday was a small midweek show at Rongotea, a small
farming center on a busy
cross-road on the very fertile Manawatu river plains.A very
prosperous farming area,
an excellent venue and great country hospitality.

A very good muster of Central growers as very few are
travelling south for the weekend
South Island National at Christchurch.
Judge Reg Cull faced about 250 flowers in all grades, Wilf
and Bob assisting in the lower
novice and childrens classes..

A big day for Wilf Hall, on of the hardest working growers
and administrators for both
our Central Daffodil group and the N D S.

After umpteen years breeding and exhibiting tazettas, he
managed a well deserved
CHAMPION BLOOM with a tazetta seedling of his own, something
he had never thought
would happen.

Champion Bloom A V X 27 (
Avalanche — x — Rondo ) Wilf Hall

To cap a good day, he showed Premier formal Camellia with
Kathryn Fumari
and also won 3rd draw in the raffle.
A V X 27 is now building an impressive show record, with a
host of local and national
premiers and now a deserved Champion Bloom.

When you,r hot, — you,r hot.
WELL DONE WILF.

Cheers John.
