Request for daffodil blooms

Hello everyone, I received the request below this morning through the
National Daffodil Society website. Unfortunately the timeframe is too
tight for commercial growers from New Zealand to get flowers to Mrs Lovatt for
her daughter’s funeral on Wednesday. I thought that maybe growers in UK or
Europe just may have some acclimatizing bulbs which could be flowering at
present and could supply blooms, even if it is just a few.
If so would you be kind enough to contact Pat Lovatt in person
title= and also let me know please. I trust
that this request is genuine.

Thanks for your
help,
Denise

Dear Sirs, Our dearest
daughter Jo passed away on 25th August after a long and very brave fight from
cancer. Her very favourite flower was the daffodil and as these aren’t
available in England, is there any way we can get some sent over so that we may
lay them on her coffin – funeral Wed. 7th Sept. Naturally, we will pay by
our credit card, but we are at our wits end in trying to fulfil her
dreams. With many thanks.
