The children’s premier was Falstaff grown by Jimmy Phimister and exhibited
by Mum Judy
And the non member’s winner was Highfield Beauty exhibited by Joan and Owen
Paton
The number of flowers exhibited at the show was down on previous years as
was the quality which reflects the difficult season which continues with the
whole country in the grip of a storm with high winds, snow in the deep
south, cold temperatures and rain.
It is spring – keep smiling Peter it can’t be any worse that the worst
season ever.
