A few more from our Central Group Late late show.
Amateur Champion and Amateur Reserve were both from Ralph
Mountfort.
Amateur Champ 3 W – R Rockall Ralph
Mountfort.
Look at the width and round form of this Rockall.I had to
check it was correctly
named — best seen all season.Only a little sunburn on top
of cup stopped it,s progress.
Brian D. comments the other day about greater width in
warmer late season sunshine
and better conditions giving round form is certainly true here.
Amateur Reserve 2 W – P Cape Point Ralph Mountfort.
Yes, your trained eye tells you something is not quite correct.
Out of line, particularly left minor petal.Shows up on
photo and
also if looking at back of flower.
