Hello daffneters and nature lovers,
Last week was a very good week, saw my first ruby- throat hummingbird April 5 and my first Monarch butterfly April 7.
The Monarch was accomplishing her role in life for the survival of the species. Having survived the long trip from spending the winter in Mexico, she was laying eggs on asclepia tuberosa in my front yard. Her colors are somewhat faded. They are on their way north friends.
