This is V06-12-4 which is a cross of V99-3-3=(Xana x Candlepower) x Rosy Posy. ‘Rosy Posy’ is Sid DuBose’s best formed, smallest, and deepest pink color value Intermediate.
Sort of a scruffy flower overall, it opens with the faintest tinge of pink, a tiny hint of ephemeral pink with heavy cream undertones. It spends most of its life as a white trumpet. The diameter is 46mm so it does qualify as a Miniature. The flower is ribby and poor to fair in substance.
I’ve made a large number of crosses trying to get pink in Miniatures. My success rate towards the pink goal in the first generation crosses is abysmal. Now working on intercrossing and backcrossing many of the “failed” pinks to see if more pink can be retrieved in the F2 generation.
